Chanyue House Guide

1. Overview

  • Pink Block: Women’s Residence
  • Blue Block: Men’s Residence
  • CE Block: Activity Accommodation Area (3F-4F for men and 5F-6F for women)
  • As the dormitories are segregated, please do not cross the dormitory of the opposite sex.

2. Layout of of the CE Block

  • Each day there will be hot water from 6am til 11pm

  • There are coin-operated washing machines and dryers in the laundry on the second floor.
  • There is a residential service counter at the main entrance on the 4th floor.

3. Important Points

  • Please bring your own toiletries, towels, slippers, reusable mugs and other personal effects.
  • There are no bathrooms or toilets in the bedrooms.
  • The daily hot water supply in the bathroom is from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.
  • Do not eat meat, smoke, or drink alcohol on campus.
  • Do not wear pyjamas, walk about bare-chested or barefoot in public areas.
  • There is no room cleaning service available. Please put any trash into the garbage cans in the common room.

4. Dormitory Rules

  • Please do not bring illegal or dangerous items into the dormitory.
  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Please do not enter the dormitory of the opposite sex.
  • Please keep your voice down when speaking in the common room or on the telephone, especially in the evening and at night.
  • Please do not move the furniture in the room.
  • Please respect the public property during your stay. There will be a fine if anything is damaged due to improper use.
  • Please do not use high-power electrical appliances, or cook in the room for your own safety.
  • Please safeguard your valuables. In case of loss or theft, the school cannot be held responsible.
  • The accommodation staff are responsible for keeping the access cards. In case of loss, you will be held liable.

5. Reminder

  • Chanyue House uses electronic room cards for access.
  • Remember to bring your room card with you when you go out, otherwise you may be locked out.
  • If you have any queries during your stay, please ask the conference staff or the accommodation staff at the fourth floor service counter. The service hours are as follows:
    2018/12/18 (Tuesday)-12/21(Friday): 13:00~14:00, 19:00~22:00.
